MPower Energy, in partnership with Atterbury Property and Fledge Capital, is in the final stages of entering into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with the University of Pretoria. The first phase consists of a 12.7MWp fixed tilt ground mount Solar PV project on the University’s premises, which will generate approximately 22.8GWh of clean energy annually. This facility will be integrated with the University’s diesel generators to enable savings on diesel expenditure and will reduce carbon emissions by 21,000 tonnes annually.
