Mpower Energy is proud to announce that we have completed the Shumbasolve Gas to Power project at Highveld Industrial Park (“HIP”), Emalahleni along with our partners Highveld Industrial Park (“HIP”) and Fledge Capital. The project was commissioned in February 2024 and consists of 3 separate Cummins gas to power generators collectively making up 1MVA of generation capacity and generates approximately 3.5GWh annually. The generators are directly connected to the internal HIP gas pipeline. A Power Purchase Agreement was signed with HIP for the offtake all the energy generated.
