Mpower Energy is proud to announce that we have completed the Shumbasolve 3.6MWp fixed ground mount project at Highveld Industrial Park (“HIP”), Emalahleni along with our partners HIP and Fledge Capital. The Solar PV facility was commissioned in August 2024. The project collectively generates approximately 6.8GWh of clean energy annually, reducing HIP’s reliance on the national grid and enhancing energy security for its operations. 6200 bi-facial solar modules was installed and this facility will help HIP reduce their carbon emissions by around 6000 tonnes per year and will deliver significant cost savings over its 25-year lifespan.
